Coverage of the Board meeting by WBEZ's Linda Lutton.
"Today
we're starting a new segment called "Cheat Sheet," and it's meant be a
quick and dirty peek into Chicago's often contentious school board
meetings and the issues that are brought up there."
It's a welcome addition. I can't believe no one's done it before. I hope they keep it up.

From Whoops: Two issues related to the move:
1) The link to this blog in your final Catalyst post doesn't work.
2) Linda Lenz wrote, about the previous host site: "We had several disagreements, but none of them had anything to do with a Catalyst funder's programs."
That's telling in and of itself. In any case, good luck at your new home.

Not so long ago they used to have board meetings out in the schools, in a gymnasium or auditorium or something. I remember one at Orr in the gym. But Duncan got rid of that practice somewhere along the way -- does anyone remember what precipitated the change? -- and Huberman doesn't give any indication of restoring it.
