The inevitability of Barbara Eason Watkins taking over as head of CPS seems to have eroded in the last couple of weeks, and Arne seems to be sailing towards an overwhelmingly easy confirmation (unless he turns out to have some nanny problems we don't know about).
So it's time to begin the speculation / rumor-mongering / half-assed reporting about who will be the next head of Chicago Public Schools.
