The Board has been in denial for a long time -- even with other districts around the country scrambling to deal with their own budget problems. And Huberman has been slow to make decisions about what to cut, going back and forth about various programs.
But now, finally, it seems like the budget deficit at CPS is going to have to be dealt with.
Catalyst has the story (Central office braces for layoffs) but you have the answers. Who or what is going to get cut? Who (or what) should get cut? My vote for a while has been to get rid of AIOs and LLTs, for example. But I bet you have some better ideas.
