Daley defends record, says he's had vision

One
day after being criticized by potential challenger Luis Gutierrez,
Mayor Richard Daley responded Tuesday by taking credit for improving
the city's public schools and tackling the challenge of public housing.

U. of I. touts benefits of more out-of-state students
The University of Illinois has begun a campaign to sell its strategic
plan, which calls for decreasing the size of the freshman class and
admitting more out-of-state students, among other goals.

Art in the Schools Chicago Kids Weigh In

Chicago Public Schools students to the Hello Beautiful! studio. The
