Want To Help Out? We Want You To.

Help_wanted
Slowly but surely, folks who want to help grow this site have been coming forward -- whether they know "how" to blog or not.  That's great.  All it really takes is passion for Chicago schools, some interest or willingness to learn, and a little bit of time sharing what you know. Columbia College journalism star James Ewert has been doing a great job with the morning round-ups and weekly summaries.  Kathy Broderick, a CPS parent, is the most recent addition -- she's focusing on events and bringing a parents' perspective to the site.  But we're not done yet.  Topics of interest include what's going on in the Latino community and its schools, as well as little profiles of specific schools or neighborhoods.  I'm also looking for someone who'd like to do email or phone interviews with local notables who otherwise don't get much coverage (community leaders, reformers, administrators).   Interested in any of the above or got your own idea?  Shoot me an email at Alexander Russorusso at gmail dot com.
