Urban School Boards Report

The NSBA issued a report on urban school districts (including one in Illinois) that includes some interesting findings, including about disconnects between principal and teacher views of parent support ("While 81 percent of administrators agree that parents support their
school and activities, only 57 percent of teachers agree with that
perception") and teacher views of students' chances (see the USA Today story).  You can check it all out here.
