Lots of schools have uniform requirements. But how to enforce or maintain the standard so that it remains meaningful and looks good? At Locke, they require kids to tuck in their collared shirts -- over and over and over again. Is this common? Is this necessary? Does it work? I'm curious to know from those who've seen uniform requirements work -- or not -- in schools. No history of uniforms necessary, however.
