Unlike

a charter school or magnet school that attracts children from

throughout the area, often the best and brightest, whose parents are

able to provide transportation. It’s still a neighborhood school so the

changes in performance since the 2005-06 school year are a lot more

meaningful.

high school in Austin if state funding is available.
