Chicago Police think the shooter is associated with a street gang but
said that Roky, a sophomore at Kelly High School who had no criminal
record, was not in a gang and was not wearing gang colors.
Officials are expected to announce Thursday that Chicago-area schools
will receive about $50 million from the Chicago Community Trust, a
local philanthropic organization, in a bid to boost student learning. [see more on this below]

Creatures Gross and Disgusting” and “Cultural Uses of Plants,” to
programs that bring museum educators into the classrooms to work
alongside teachers, providing opportunities for hands-on science.
