Steinberg Vs. Jesse Jr. on Education

This may be news to no one but me, but CST columnist Neil Steinberg took a big swipe at Jesse Jr. (and his chances of unseating the Mayor) earlier this winter, based in large part on Jackson's introduction of a Kozol-esque amendment to make education a right under the Constitution (where it is currently not mentioned).

Here's Jackson's reponse, thanks to the Beachwood Reporter's Steve Rhodes, who wrote this profile of Jackson in 2005. And Steinberg's response.  Can't find the orginal column online, but you get the idea.
