Spellings and Duncan are meeting at Walcott Westcott today to talk about performance pay.
According to the AP, Duncan is still on the list of EdSec contenders (Name by name, Obama's Cabinet taking shape). But it could be a little awkward if someone from the press dares to ask Duncan what he thinks about the Blago scandal, or whether he or anyone else in CPS has ever asked or been asked to "pay to play." I'm hoping they do ask.
Reader comments from yesterday seemed to suggest that pay to play, or something close to it, is not just something that happens in the Governor's Mansion.
PS: If anyone has a picture of the Gov and Duncan, I'd love to see it. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or post it as a link in the comments section.
