So You Think The Ren-10 Process Is Hard

Charter school folks often talk about how hard it is to get approved and started up, but this article from New York Magazine (Why New York's New Private Schools Are Struggling) makes it sound like starting a private school would be even harder -- even with the glut of kids, willing parents, and lack of options . Besides Christo Rey, I can't remember when the last private school opened up in Chicago, and now I know why.
