One of the things the Board is scheduled to vote on tomorrow is a plan to "simplify" the current probation system with its numerous categories ("distinction," etc.). Under the plan, a school would either be on probation, not on probation, or an AAMPS school, depending on its test scores.
The specific cutoffs are not listed on the document, which worries some readers who sent me this, though I've been told that the cutoffs (30 pct / 40 pct.) aren't changing. Of course, this year there aren't any ITBS scores to help determine probation, and there are lots more ISAT scores.
