One is pretty much of a puff piece in the Wall Street Journal about Chicago and other cities' efforts to create lots of new schools (Transforming Inner-City Schools To Train Tomorrow's Work Force).
The other is in Community Media Workshop is about a Friday event to protest TIF funding for a warehouse on the site selected for a new high school (Austin TIF: Warehouse or High School?).
There's no mention of the TIF controversy in the CMN story but maybe someone out there can tell us if and how the issues are connected.
