See the full list of NCLB restructuring schools, the revised press release from CPS explaining what closed means, and a schedule of the school closing hearings in February.
If you want to see the long list of schools that have failed to make AYP for 5 years or more and are now in "restructuring" (a NCLB not a Ren10 thing) you can check it out here: Download restructuring_list_051.xls
If you want to see CPS's clarification to the first press release, look here: Download Press_Release_closings2.doc : I'm not sure it will help, though. "This release clarifies that the phase-outs of four schools will be completed by the end of the year, but that new schools have already begun operating at those sites." Right.
