According to Mike Klonsky's small schools blog, the removal of two small schools principals -- Dr. Olufemi O. Adeniji (listed) at the School of Technology on the South Shore High School campus and Mrs. Mirtha Quintana-Toomey (listed) at World Language High School -- out of the 8 total who were removed citywide represents a crisis for Ren10 (CPS facing Renaissance 2010 leadership crisis).
From The Trib: "Of the eight principals being removed for performance problems, three
are in grade schools and five are at high schools. The three elementary
schools--Medill, Earle and Mahalia Jackson--will replace longtime
leaders with "turnaround" principals who will be given broad power to
make changes. Two principals were removed from small high schools: the School of Technology on the South Shore
High School campus and World Language High School at a showcase campus in Little Village."
