Thus far, at least, it seems like Illinois' preschool expansion over the past few years hasn't really hit the rest of the K-12 system. PK classrooms are often tucked into the corners of buildings -- or in community centers -- and I hardly ever hear about PK teachers or issues when I'm visiting schools. But that could change soon.
