Pathways To A Type 75?

Thanks to an eagle-eyed reader who passed along this email that was apparently sent to NBC teachers:

"Congratulations on Being a National Board Certified Teacher! We wanted to let you know about an exciting leadership program. Pathways

to Leadership is a 9-week selective, rigorous leadership development

program for aspiring principals, central office and school leaders. Pathways focuses

on core district strategies and leadership skills necessary for school

success and is grounded in the Five Fundamentals and our

Principal/Leadership Competencies. Pathways also will provide timely/specific development around the new Principal Success Factors and Eligibility process. The Winter cohort will be held at the Little Village campus, 3120 S. Kostner. The application deadline is January 9, 2009 and we have capacity for 35 participants. If you have any questions, please email cpsleaders@cps.k12.il.us or call Willona Abner-Adkins at (773) 553-4223."

I'm not sure what this is -- a brushup course for aspiring principals, or a condensed training program for folks who need certification. Any connections to the recent principal eligibility changes that were announced (below)? Maybe you can figure it out for me.
