Obama Tackles Education -- Or Does He?

Yesterday, Barack Obama gave his first big speech on education reform since becoming President, tying together many familiar themes (the need for innovation, professionalizing teaching, etc.) with some new tidbits (getting rid of charter caps).

Me, I'm not sure what the big fuss is all about. There's no

legislative vehicle for most of what Obama was proposing besides the

Stim. Much of what he wants done is out of his hands. What did you think?
