According to this NYT article, Barack Obama is getting -- yes -- education advice from none other than CPS's Arne Duncan. The two apparently bonded on the basketball court. I'm only guessing, but some of the advice Duncan might give based on the past few years could include: don't displace students if you decide to close schools, think carefully about the cost-effectiveness of adding literacy specialists in the schools (new teacher mentors might be better), and...? Your suggestions welcome.
