It'll be another week before there's an official agenda out on next week's Board meeting, the last of the calendar year. However, it seems like the Board could vote on some interesting things. Grinch that it likes to be, the Board right about now starts thinking and talking about school closings, so we could see some new and/or
revised criteria for closings like we have seen each of the last three
or four years. On a related issue, there may also be an update on how the new program for displaced
students is going. Last but not least, there are some outstanding (remaining) Ren-10 proposals out there -- two from the initial round of 17 that weren't approved, plus a couple more in the works I hear. So that could happen -- in agreement or not with the advisory committees, etc.
