NBC Teachers No Better

Given what a big deal some folks here have made of NBPTS, and the discussion below about how teachers move to better schools, today's EdWeek story about NBCs is sure to provoke some interest:

"Students of teachers who hold certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards achieve, on average, no greater academic progress than students of teachers without the special status,
a long-awaited study using North Carolina data concludes."
