Maria High Student Wins City Sticker Contest

I'm mostly posting this just to add some color to the blog, since I know most of us hate paying for city parking stickers.  But it's also got a student theme, since a Maria High School senior named Monica Rooker won this year's contest out of 400 submissions.

Robert Obrochta, a senior at De La Salle Institute, came in second.  Melissa Akinlawon of Brooks College Prep came in third. Congrats to all -- including especially the City Clerk's Office for figuring out how to make us feel guilty about hating the stickers.
