Linking Youth Violence To Obama Girls

The folks at Gawker struggle to figure out how the headline and the picture placement on the cover of the conservative Washington Times could be unintentional:

"Somebody
at the WashTimes thought it made perfect sense to insert the image of
the underage White House occupants into a story about murdered kids in
Chicago." (Gawker)

It seems unfortunate but not outrageous to me -- what do you think? Maybe I'm being naive. Also, does it make me a bad person to hope that this gaffe could bring much-needed national attention to the youth violence problem?
