As every year, the annual report from the Council of Great City Schools shows that urban school districts are making progress (Urban Schools Continue Test-Score Gains, Report Finds EdWeek).
I'm told that they use the same data as everyone else, but it's amazing how that happens. Who needs a Prairie Home Companion when you've got the Council?
