Graduation Rates Rising At Columbia College

Columbia"Columbia’s graduation rates are lower than some Chicago area
colleges and universities, which could be attributed to the school’s
admissions policy," according to this Columbia Chronicle story (Graduation rates low, but rising).  "The graduation rate at Columbia, which only accounts for students
starting as freshmen, is 30 percent for students graduating in six
years, according to the Department of Education....
The graduation rate rose from 27 percent for freshmen starting in
the fall of 1995 to 30 percent for freshmen who began in 1999,
according to Columbia’s Fact Book.
