No really big news today, but some bits and pieces and catching up to do. For example, WBEZ's story about Greeley is something I missed (Chicago School Wins Federal Award). The Tribune tells us about suburban violence (Taser used in arrest at Downers Grove South) and a new effort to fight child obesity (Imagine that, children actually walking to school). The Sun Times goes with a big football showdown (McCord has momentum against Lane). Chicagoist makes fun of Oak Lawn for banning -- no, not hugging -- but holidays (The School Board That Stole Christmas). WBEZ has a couple of light music and yoga segments: Grooving with Hungarian Youth,Yoga for Youngsters. Like I said, not much news.
