Here's a good one. IL Congressman Rahm Emanuel is proposing federal legislation that would link dropouts to drivers' licenses. Several states already do this (West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Georgia).

Some say it would be punitive and unfair. Others say it would be a concrete incentive to stay in school. I'm not sure that it makes such a difference in cities like Chicago where many kids don't have cars, but what do you think, and how would it play out in your school, community, or classroom?
