CPS Alumni Website -- Is It Any Good?

Launched in April, the CPS Alumni website has already won an award from The Web Marketing Association for its efforts to reach the estimated 3 milliion people who've worked at or attended CPS schools over the years. Congrats, etc.

"With separate home pages for every elementary and high school in CPS history, CPS is the first large urban public school district to organize its alumni in this way," according to the press release. "Since the site launched, it’s received 41,000 visitors from more than 70 countries and been viewed 385,000 times...About 160 Chicago public schools have posted information about anniversary events and class reunions on CPSalumni.org since the site launched this spring.
