Chicago Education Blog Roundup - Gym Class, Unions and Daley

Around the Chicago education blogs:

Mike Klonsky poked fun at the Cornell researchers who found that the average high school student is active a whopping 16 minutes during a typical day in P.E. saying, "Well duh! Didn't these researchers ever go to high school. I'll bet they were the ones who got notes from their moms, saying they had a cold, so they wouldn't have to swim the in the cold, filthy swimming pool.

Meanwhile at Teachers Speak Out, Victor links an interesting blog from the AFL-CIO and posts a political cartoon open to interpretation.

And Teacher X takes on Daley's proposal to use South Side parks for an Olympic Stadium and the Sun-Times Steve Huntley's "right wing tactics."
