Budgets, Charters, Senn, & SEIU

I am still a little confused about how to find out when Substance is updated online, but there are some stories up about topics that haven't been covered here which some of you may want to read:

For example: Chicago Board of Education delays budget hearings for second straight year, NAACP opposes Virginia charter school -- but is silent in Chicago, and Will Alderman Smith's 'facilities' money go to break Senn HS into 'small schools'? $6 million on tap for Senn High School?.

Much of the rest is about the CTU imbroglio, naturally. One riff on that of interest: SEIU and other unions facing crisis as disputes between and within unions escalate.
