Today, Arne Duncan is set to speak in front of the City Club. However, badgering the state about fixing the funding problem isn't going to be a big favorite among folks who aren't sure more money is the solution, and it's not clear how much else Duncan has in the works. The press release talks about CRI and other curricular reforms -- meaning CMSI, HST, I guess. But CRI is going to have to be re-done and re-launched, given its lack of coherence (and impact, some would say) and the unsustainably high costs (and low returns, some would say) of the LLTs.
