On the 7th anniversary of 9/11, I'm wondering where you were or how you heard about the 9/11 attacks -- in school, on your way, in the lounge, from a kid? -- and what if anything your students (or children) know or think about the event, which might already seem like it happened a LONG time ago to them. Do they remember it, too, or is it like Pearl Harbor or the Holocaust -- something they've been told about or studied but not something that they remember on their own?
Salvador Dali's "Persistence of memory."
