Before and After on A Budget

I ran across a wing chair last summer at a garage sale for $75.00.
What a deal right?
The only problem is it was slipcovered in an untasteful creamy silk fabric!
My next stop was to Loomcraft to find an affordable fabric
to re-cover the piece with.
I found a great celedon linen velvet for 50% off and a fun chartreuse 60's pattern cut velvet for accent pillows. The next challenge was finding a good price to re-upholster lucky my drapery lady offered to take on the challenge for a decent price!
The cost of the final product was around $300.00 which is a great price for anyone who knows what a new wing chair costs these days.
The wing chair turned out excellent and will last a lifetime.
Check out the Before and After & I also included some other Before and After shots for inspiration for your next Spring project!
