Chemical weapons used again in Syria

We were told by the Obama administration that Barack Obama's diplomacy resulted in the removal of all chemical weapons available to the cruel Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad'. (Even though Obama backed away from his "red line" and handed the job over to Russia, which, it turns out, helped Russia expand its Middle East foothold.) But they're back, obviously used by Assad's forces.

As reported by MSN:

A suspected chemical attack in rebel-held northwestern Syria killed dozens of civilians including children and left many more sick and gasping on Tuesday, causing widespread outrage.

The attack on the town of Khan Sheikhun killed at least 58 civilians and saw dozens suffering respiratory problems and symptoms including vomiting, fainting and foaming at the mouth, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said.

The Trump administration properly puts some of the blame on the Obama administration.

  • Of course Trump had 5 or 6 plans for Syria, including "Let Assad take care of it" and "Let Russia take care of it." Assuming that ISIS doesn't have chemical weapons (and I don't know if we can), it looks like Trump's "policy" is being implemented.

  • In reply to jack:

    "Trump's policy" is an oxymoron.
