On this anniversary of Pearl Harbor, rare pictures from the home front

Thank Life Magazine for these rare pictures from the home front. You know, Life Magazine, where we got our important, moving and important pictures before in Internet and even before television. Check out the faces of these young people and think of the challenges and dangers that they faced. Thank you, Greatest Generation.

While there, check out the pictures that we most remember. And some that were never published, including of that madman, Hitler and his admirers. That should make us doubly thankful.

Get two copies of my historical novel, "Madness: The War of 1812," for the price of one in this Christmas sale. For details and how to order, visit http://www.madness1812.com
