Mother Jones magazine betrays its namesake

Mother Jones magazine represents the secular political left with such blind allegiance that one might think that the real Mother Jones was of the same mind. Not so, blogger Patrick Hickey, reminds us in another one of his eloquent, fact-based posts on "With both hands."

Contrary to the myth the secular left has tried to create of Mother Jones as a fallen-away Catholic, the facts are quite different. She was born a Catholic and died a Catholic and would seriously disagree with the magazine's admiration of the ACLU and all of its associated secular nonsense. For fair-minded folks, this is a must read.

  • Mother Jones must be turning over in her grave. To think Hickey wants to make her a posthumous Republican. Conservative revisionism in shameless action.

  • Tommy, all this time I thought you could read. Them copies of the Nicomachean Ethics must have been on disc.

Where in the name of the Old Stagirite did you see the word Republican anywhere in my post?

    Summa Illogica, there Cupcake.

  • In reply to PatHickey:

I saw it in the author's name.

  • About reading Aristotle's Ethics on a disc, no I waded through a paperback edition years ago.

You probably read it on the original discus.

    Pax vobiscum!
