The irony in Gov. Christie's decision not to run for president

The irony is that his decision to remain governor to fix New Jersey's problems makes him even more attractive as president.

The very fact that he sticks to his convictions sets him head and shoulders above the current crop of politicians who would do anything to move up the food chain. Strengthen of character;  ability to make decisions and explain them is exactly the leadership qualities that President Barack Obama fails to display. My greater disappointment in Christie not running for president is that Illinois doesn't have a leader like him.

  • And then we have Quinn, who is the opposite, and according to the Fox Poll last night only has support in the African American community. Doesn't mean that he'll be defeated in 3 years, though.
