When the "new media" kill

Bloggers and all deriders of the "legacy media" should read this piece. Professional journalism becoming replaced by the kind of laissez faire, anything-goes new media touted by what I would cal communications libertarians has its consequences. Sometimes deadly.

  • The Tribune itself has become about 90% blog.

    I also think that about 90% who post on comment boards have serious mental issues. I suppose that that 90% also think that I do. One lawyer who didn't take kindly to me pointing out that he made a legal error tried to kick me off here, but Jimmy Greenfield reinstated me. I've removed his bookmark.

    Also, knowing what a real encyclopedia is, I have castigated Wikipedia, including on its own site.
