Hello, Bill Brady, where's your campaign? (UPDATE)

At this rate, you're not even an afterthought.

good cheer. Here's a terrific analysis of what Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady needs to do to beat incumbent Pat Quinn. So far, it looks like Brady doesn't exist, as if he's waiting to be defined by Quinn's handlers.

If the Brady campaign is out of ideas--and they're sure beginning to look like it--Russ Stewart over at the Chicago Daily Observer has some interesting ones.

  • After some brief mentions in news stories, we have heard no more about Brady's supposed support for replacing science with "creationism" in the public school curriculum. People who care about public education should care about hearing more about this. Is it true? Would Brady, as Governor, try to emulate Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas and dumb down science education in Illinois public schools? If this is something Brady cares about, and would seek to carry out if elected, he should be telling us about it.

  • Apparently you missed (maybe because others and especially you only do it for Democrats) Channel 7.1's free story about Brady's commercial, followed by Brady's commercial. Also, Charles Thomas said that Quinn can't reply, because the union folks are teed at him for calling for furloughs, and hence not contributing.

As for oldleftie, you know that he wants Quinn to define Brady. He's tiffed that Quinn won't define Dock Walls and Scott Lee.

I'm waiting for Alexi's money to run out.
