Gov. Quinn: Budget will be done by end of May

Pat Quinn promises that somehow he and the Legislature will agree on a budget by the deadline of May 31. 

Ha, ha, ha, ha. 
They may call it a "budget," but it will be far from what you and I would think of as a budget for our household or business. They'll borrow billions more, wanting us to ignore that they got into this gawd-awful mess because they borrowed too much in the first place. That's because they spent too much, more than they were taking in. Some think that we need more revenues, but which of us in planning our household budget doesn't wish for more income? We know that the real answer is to live within our means. Lord help us.
