Giannoulias=party lacky

Illinois Senate Candidates Greet Voters On Primary Day

One thing we can count on: If Alexi Giannoulias is elected Illinois' senator, he can be counted on to be the Democratic Party's lickspittle. Just hours after President Barack Obama announced his nomination of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, Giannoulias came out with a full-throated endorsement

What's wrong with that? Senior White House advisor David Axelrod said it's much too soon to judge Kagan's nomination. Said Axelrod:

Well first of all, one would hope that senators would give more than six hours consideration to the nomination before they render a judgment.

Was he talking about Giannoulias? No, of course not; he was talking about those nasty Republicans. Specifically, Sen. Jim Inhofe, a Republican from Oklahoma, who said he opposed her because of her lack of judicial experience, her record and her "interpretation" of the Constitution.

Interestingly, even the left-learning WBEZ questioned whether Giannoulias was too hasty

  • Here is another lackey for the dnc and he isn't even in the senate.This man will not be a senator in the future,the baggage he carries is to heavy.We will see some serious mud slinging in the coming months.This race will get very dirty,even if cbs doesn't like the content.
