Cubs called on to move spring training out of Arizona

First seeing the headline, I thought that someone important, or someone with some clout, or thousands of fans were demanding this.

But upon reading the story, we discover that it's "dozens" of Chicago
Cubs fans gathered outside Wrigley Field. What's next to be covered, two fans in a phone booth?

  • I am not a cub fan and could really care less where they play but don't cave into these lunatics.Did anyone of these fools even read the bill? It's only 10 pages,no pictures though.DO NOT DO IT.SHOW SOME BACK BONE

  • I think you comment deals more with what the Tribune considers "Breaking News." I'm sure the Tribune won't be like Fox national news, and interview an Arizona police officer. But a couple of Hispanics get a PR agent, and it becomes Breaking News. What about the aldercreature who said that the Sox should move out of their brand new facility? I guess he is no longer breaking news.

  • In reply to jack:

I really don't remember when we ever voted for an alderman because they were brainiacs.Just a little reminder, there are more than a couple states with this exact law on their books. The difference is Arizona had the guts to actually start enforcing theirs. When will the frauds in the news business interview one of the almost 70% of the folks who are in favor of this law???????
