11 states poised to file suit against health care act

If you thought the health care debate is over, go over and stand in the corner with the rest of the naive souls. Numerous stories are popping up, reporting that several states are thinking of filing lawsuits, challenging the constitutionality of the health care bill. Here's one from the Christian Science Monitor.

Be sure to read the story about the serious constitutional problems presented by the act. It's the  subject of my op-ed column Tuesday in the Chicago Tribune.

  • It will be interesting to see how the courts deal with a program mandating that all citizens buy health insurance. What of the illegals? We pay for them now,and I'll bet that one is right around the corner too.How do we put 25 million uninsured into a system that can't handle that on top of another 20 to 30 illegals.I ask, name 1 government program that operates the way they said it would and isn't ripe with waste and corruption?
