Forbes: the nation's most miserable magazine

Chicago's the nation's third most miserable city, according to Forbes magazine. I stopped

putting any stock in any of these ratings a long time ago, concocted from a set of arbitrarily chosen demographics. These "studies" are always junk, either in the selection of the variables they are examining, or in assigning weights to each factor. Should, for example, weather get the same value as, say, unemployment, as say, street crime. 

This is amateur demographics deployed by someone/something looking for a cheap and easy story, the emphasis on cheap. 
For using this nonsense, Forbes gets my  rating as the nation's most miserable magazine.
