Oprah to interview Sarah Palin

Now that the election is over Oprah finally has to live up to her promise to interview Palin only after the presidential election. This was while Oprah has busily endorsing Barack Obama. (Stories here and here)

Here's an interesting tidbit: Palin's new book, Going Rogue: An American Life, as CBS notes:

Going Rogue" rose to the top
of the Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com sales rankings more than a
month and a half before its release, thanks to preorders. The initial
printing for the book is 1.5 million copies, matching the initial
printing for Ted Kennedy's recent memoir, "True Compass."

I guess it was getting pretty hard for Oprah to ignore a woman who has written a best seller.

  • Barf. 1.5 million copies pre ordered? If you ever doubted the idiocy of the general public, let this remove all doubt.

  • In reply to MareSwallow:

I suppose the same can be said about the people who bought Ted Kennedy's book

  • In reply to MareSwallow:

I dont know if you heard but I just found out Ted Kennedy was awarded an honorary gold medal in swimming.
