As health legislation moves through Congress public opposition increases

A stunning 42 percent of the public surveyed in a new poll strongly oppose the Obama and Democratic health care legislation moving through Congress, compared with a slim 24 percent that strongly favor. A new Rasmussen poll finds that overall, 54 percent oppose and 42 percent favor the plans.

What is it with Obama and the Democrats who are determine to force this down the throats of an increasingly resistant public? I suppose that in their righteousness they truly believe that they are doing what's best for the country. Meaning the rest of us don't know what's good (or bad) for us.

  • The "public" doesn't even know what's in the plans so this poll is worthless. Hell, Congress hasn't even decided what's going to be in the plan.

  • In that they say that lame duck Rollie the Pooh is a pivotal vote on this, you know we are in trouble.,0,122414.story
