Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Week Two

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
Week Two
Passing: 22-232, 397 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
Rushing: 1 rush, -1 yd, 0 TD
Week One
Passing: 23-28, 355 yds, 5 TD, 1 INT
Rushing: 2 rush, 1 yd, 0 TD

Against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Bridgewater put up more big numbers. That should be consistent this entire season, which is a double-edged sword for Bridgewater's Heisman candidacy; Louisville has a weak schedule, so while he should put up enormous numbers, the lack of a marquee victory could ultimately hurt his case.

Now that we’re thru Week Two of the college football season, the sample size is larger and some of the wins (and losses) have been bigger as well. One significant name you... Read more »

Tomorrow night, Te’o will try to make his already-unbelievable mark on college football and the University of Notre Dame more... Read more »

The University of Miami (FL), aka The U, broke enough rules in the last decade to get Jim Tressel a nomination for sainthood. Hundreds of thousands of dollars, prostitutes, vehicles, parties… all from a... Read more »
