2013 NFL Mock Draft: 2 Round Regular Season Final

1. Kansas City Chiefs - Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
What is clear is the desperate need for a quarterback in Kansas City. A couple weeks ago, I picked USC's Matt Barkley and was pretty comfortable with him in the top spot. But a lot of what I've seen and heard is that Barkley's stock is plummeting and Smith is viewed by many in the NFL as the better prospect. Smith had a ridiculous season this year (71.4 completion percentage, 40 touchdown passes and only six interceptions) and is big enough (6-3, 208) to step into the NFL. If they don't trade for an available veteran, the Chiefs will likely use the top pick on a quarterback.
After a full NFL regular season of mock drafts, we now have the top 20 selection locked-in for the Draft in April. We also have nearly one-third of the league looking for a new head coach and a half-dozen teams replacing their general manager… so far. The salary cap, accompanying the unprecedented change at head coach... Read more »

2013 NFL Mock Draft: Seventh Heaven

2013 NFL Mock Draft: Seventh Heaven
Over the course of the 2012 NFL season, we’ve spent time every couple weeks looking ahead to the 2013 NFL Draft. There has been a lot of movement with... Read more »

Tim Tebow's Future: Can He Be A Quarterback In 2013?
It appears the working relationship between the New York Jets and Tim Tebow will come to an unceremonious end at the conclusion of the 2012 season. Brian Urlacher Defends Lovie Smith, His Only Chance At Returning to Soldier Field
Fans in Chicago love Brian Urlacher. Urlacher’s #54 has sold more jerseys in this town than anyone, perhaps even including the great Walter Payton.... Read more »

NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year: RGIII? Andrew Luck? Or Russell Wilson?

NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year: RGIII? Andrew Luck? Or Russell Wilson?
Everyone loves Robert Griffin III. He has been a revelation in Washington this year, taking over as the starting quarterback after winning the Heisman at Baylor and making the NFL look easy. In 13 games, he has thrown for 2,902 yards and run for another 748, accounting for 24 total touchdowns (18 passing, 6 rushing)... Read more »

As the NFL season winds to a close, there are two pathetic realities playing out in front of millions of fans on a weekly basis. 1) Roughly one-third of the NFL is lacking a legitimate starting quarterback. 2) Roughly one-half of the NFL is in desperate need of a new offensive line. While the second... Read more »

2012 Heisman Trophy: The Defensive Tim Tebow Should Win
I know I’m going to get crap from my religious friends for using the phrase “second coming” in the next statement, but the pun is unavoidable. Manti Te’o is the second coming of Tim Tebow. Tomorrow night, Te’o will try to make his already-unbelievable mark on college football and the University of Notre Dame more... Read more »
