Heisman Trophy Power Rankings: Week Two

Last week we looked at how some of the front-runners for the Heisman Trophy performed, and threw a couple sleepers into the mix.

Now that we're thru Week Two of the college football season, the sample size is larger and some of the wins (and losses) have been bigger as well.

One significant name you won't see on our list this week is South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. After a disappointing Week One, he was underwhelming again as his Gamecocks lost to Georgia. The Bulldogs ran away from Clowney a lot - with great success - on Saturday, but it takes more than three tackles (all that Clowney was credited with again this week) for a defensive player to get Heisman consideration.

A name that isn't on our list yet, but is worth mentioning, is Boston College running back Andre Williams. Through two games, the senior running back has rushed 58 times for 318 yards and two touchdowns as BC is off to a 2-0 start. If he continues putting up big rushing numbers - and BC keeps winning - he might get more mentions nationally. But that's asking a lot for Williams and BC.

With those two names considered, let's look at how our rankings look after two games.
